Thanksgiving Service Held For Late Olatunji Arosanyin In Egbe
A Thanksgiving Service was held for late Chief Jacob Olatunji Arosanyin at the First ECWA Church, Egbe ,Kogi state at the weekend.
The late Chief Arosanyin ,who held the chieftaincy titles of Gbegbegun of Egbe and Ajagungbade of Ilofa, died on September 2 2022.
Rev. C. O Ogungbemi ,who presided over the Thanksgiving Service, extolled the virtues of the departed legal luminary describing him as a humble, God- fearing and complete gentleman.
Talking about the transient nature of life, he urged all in attendance to embrace Jesus Christ, who has made provision for all believers to resurrect to eternal life.
Late Chief Jacob Aransanyin, who was born on September 3 1935, was a close associate of Late Dr Abubakar Olusola Saraki, the Waziri of Ilorin and senate leader during the second republic.
Chief Arosanyin , was the Secretary of the National Party of Nigeria (NPN) in the old Kwara State and he was also the pioneer Chairman of Sola Saraki Educational Foundation.
An indigene of Egbe, Kogi state, Chief Arosanyin ,who died at 87, had also served as Chairman of the Board of Aladja Steel Company, Delta state during the President Shehu Shagari administration.
His law office located on Unity Road, Ilorin, was one of the leading law firms in the North in the 70s and 80s.
He was also a literary giant having authored several books .
Team@orientactualmags.com learned a delegation of Sola Saraki Educational Foundation officials that include former Chief of Staff, Government House, Ilorin, Alhaji Ladi Hassan and former Kwara state SSG, Alhaji Isiaka Gold , attended the thanksgiving service.
