Tinubu Calls Atiku Promoter Of ‘Wrong Theory’,  Obi  ‘Disobedient’ At  APC Campaign Kickoff In Jos…Inadvertently Says ‘God Bless PDP’

APC bigwigs including President Muhammadu Buhari,  National Chairman , former senator Adamu Abdulahi, the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu converged on  the Rawang Pam Township Stadium in Jos, Plateau State for the party’s presidential campaign kickoff on Tuesday.

.

As expected, it was a platform used by Tinubu to hit out at his major co-contestants  while also launching innuendos and sarcasm.

While describing   the Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr  Peter Obi  as one who does not know the road that leads to ‘presidency’ , the PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku  Abubakar is according to him a candidate who is promoting a ‘wrong theory’.

‘One of them, I don’t want to call their names. Is it Atiku? Atilukated what? Wrong theory. Mark it down. Wrong theory for Atiku.  Is it Obi? He is disobedient. He lives in Lagos, not in Anambra. He doesn’t know the road back to Anambra, so we will chart him another course’ he said.

He also made a veiled reference to the PDP  which was the ruling party at the federal level until 2015, saying Nigerians will not vote the party into power next year.

‘ They want to come back. Tell them that a dead fish cannot be sweet in any soup’ he submitted.

The former Lagos state governor however had kind words for  President Muhammadu Buhari, saying history  will be kind to him.

‘Nigeria will not sink in the time of APC. When history of this period is objectively written, it will smile upon you. Don’t worry about what they say. This history will still be written by us.

Hope is back and renewed. They thought they could bury the hope, but I recall from the speech I made in 2015. When there was a problem around WW2, the British were sinking. They turned to their general Winston Churchill. We were in trouble from 2011 up till 2015 and we turned to our general, Muhammadu Buhari.

We put him where he embarked on the rehabilitation of the country and redeeming the nation’s promise. What did he do? He started by dismantling strange flags in our LGAs. We say ‘thank you, sir’ he said.

The flag-off was attended by President Muhammadu Buhari, Senate President Ahmed Lawan, Vice Presidential Candidate, former Senator Kashim Shettima,  Speaker of the House Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, Governors Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq (Kwara), Abdullahi Ganduje (Kano), Nasir El-Rufai (Kaduna), Abubakar Sani-Bello (Niger), Yahaya Bello (Kogi), Abubakar Badaru (Jigawa),  Ben Ayade (Cross River), Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi) and Abdullahi Sule (Nasarawa) and other stakeholders in the party.

Wife of the presidential candidate, Senator Remi Tinubu , who was joined by wife of the Vice Presidential candidate , Hajia Nana Shettima , while addressing the party supporters assured women and young people  that they will be  given a sense of belonging if Tinubu gets elected as president next year.

‘God will make our nation greater than what is being seen…, there will be food, there will be jobs…’ she said.

Also speaking, Isa Aremu described   APC as  a labour-friendly party noting that the Buhari administration did  not retrench any worker despite the numerous challenges , this, he noted,  made the  labour movement take a decision to support  Tinubu, who will deliver decent jobs.

Team@orientactualmags.com   learned an incident that   the APC leaders and members would have readily preferred that other Nigerians also consider it as a gloss over like they had done, was recorded during the event but it  had however  gotten amplified by members of the opposition party; the PDP. .

Tinubu had while getting set to end his speech inadvertently prayed for the leading opposition party, the PDP.

He had said ‘God bless Nigeria, God bless PD..’ he realized his mistake and then quickly corrected himself and said ‘APC’ repeatedly but the deed had been done.

Like the proverbial ‘Omoye’ that was too late to get covered with a cloth having raced into the very heart of the market naked, PDP supporters had since leapt to conclusions that Tinubu had prayed for their party, they have made a capital out of the issue while the video had also become a meme- Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
