Ahead of the 2023 presidential election, committees that would oversee activities and guide all the support groups working to make the Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s presidential project become a reality in the North Central have been inaugurated in Abuja.
A prominent politician in Kwara state, who is also a veteran journalist, Alhaji Raheem Adedoyin is the Coordinator of all the support groups in the geopolitical zone.
Kwara is one of the six states in the North Central .
Team@orientactualmags.com learned the committee headed by Adedoyin that had been tasked with managing the support groups in the North Central set up and inaugurated committees that would assist them in getting their mandate delivered in Abuja during the weekend.
Giving his speech, Adedoyin, who emphasized the important role the support groups will be playing in the Tinubu presidential project , urged all members of support groups in the North Central to carry party officials in their respective states along in all that they do.
‘If you are conversant with campaign and election objectives, you will know and understand that this is the flagship of all the committees , this is the one that deals directly with the people you will mobilize for our candidate and for elections that is why we call them support groups, I will remind all of us that are here that we are core party members , please in whatever we do we must carry our party officials along you must relate with them and you must embrace them . You must let them realize that we are all working for the same goal’ he said.
‘The task before us is enormous, the support groups are the drivers of the campaign and they are present in all the wards in the country, we should go back to our states to identify the support groups that have the structures, the support groups that are credible , reliable and capable of joining us in this journey of taking Asiwaju to the villa. We should engage them and help them design and implement strategies that will produce an effective campaign strategy’ Tosin Adeyanju also submitted.
It will be recalled that Tosin Adeyanju had been named to serve as Adedoyin’s secretary.
