APC Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, submitted on Thursday that someone from the southwestern part of the country will emerge as President Muhammadu Buhari’s successor on May 29 2023.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned the former Lagos state governor, who said this while addressing party members and supporters during the presidential campaign rally held at the Freedom Park, Osogbo, also noted that the geo-political zone had a few years ago supported the emergence of a president from the north , it will not be out of place therefore if someone from the region succeeds President Buhari in May this year.
He added the naira redesign exercise that has made Nigerians feel uncertain when it comes to what lies ahead of them and the scarcity of petrol that had hit the country since November last year which has worsened, will not stop the masses from voting for him on February 25.

‘We collaborated with them (North) to elect a president of northern extraction, this time around; we (southwest) will succeed them.
Despite the ongoing fuel and currency scarcity in the country, the people will still throng polling units across the country to vote for APC. The places where we are going to vote are not far from our houses. We will trek to the place. Wherever they put the ballot boxes, we will get there and we will vote and emerge victorious
Nobody smashes the seed from a palm nut by being gentlemanly. We are not bastards. We were the one that put them there and we will be the one to succeed them.
If you say you want to frustrate us, we have come a long way and no matter what you do, we will remain steadfast. We are grateful for the way you have come out in large numbers’ he said.
Tinubu has also promised to create job opportunities for young Nigerians.

‘All the young Nigerians searching for job will get a job. I want to assure you that whoever wants to learn a craft will do so with ease. We will establish companies for our children who couldn’t gain admission.
We will re-enact the Lagos strategy in Nigeria, we will create job opportunities for our teeming unemployed young people. We will ensure that those seeking vocational skills learn their desired skills conveniently.
For those who are attending universities, call me bastard if you spend more than four years for a four-year course. We will lend those who are not financially capable money. Whatever your school fees are, we will pay it. No one among the children of the poor will be left out. We are all equal’ the APC presidential candidate, who spoke in Yoruba language, submitted.
Tinubu , who thanked Osun state people for coming out in large numbers to attend the presidential rally ,added that he would be returning to the state to celebrate with them and congratulate the people of the state on regaining status as an APC-controlled state.

‘We will still come back here to celebrate with you on your imminent victory, you will not suffer in vain.
The children of the defaulters who taught they can steal the government, just keep laughing at them. They were tested with a little opportunity but what they are doing is threatening the people of the state with violence.
This is not the first time that we will fight for our rights in court. We spent more than 3 years fighting for Rauf Aregbesola’s mandate and we won’ he said.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Governor Dapo Abiodun, Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, Governor Biodun Oyebamiji, former governor Kayode Fayemi , former governor Adegboyega Oyetola, APC National Secretary, Otunba Iyiola Omisore were among APC bigwigs that attended the presidential rally- Team@orientactualmags.com
