Tit For Tat: Anyanwu Faction Affirms Expulsion Of Turaki, Gov Makinde, Gov Bala, Gov Dauda, 14 Others From PDP

It was a case of ‘tit for tat’ as loyalists of FCT Minister, Barrister Nyesom Wike on Wednesday reaffirmed the expulsion of three governors and 15 other party big wigs from the PDP.

Recall that the faction headed by Alhaji Kabiru Turaki had on Tuesday not only ratified the expulsion of Barrister Nyesom Wike, former governor Ayodele Fayose and others, but also issued their certificates of expulsion.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the faction’s National Secretary, Samuel Anyanwu, a former senator, reaffirmed the expulsion of the governors and others in a statement he issued on Wednesday while warning the public to beware of ‘impostors’ who are still parading themselves as party members.

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, former governor Emmanuel Udom; former Senate President, Adolphus Wabara; Taofeek Arapaja, Alhaji Kabiru Tanimu Turaki; Ben Obi; Chief Bode George, Umar Iliya Damagum, Okechukwu Obiechina, Emmanuel Ogidi, Emmanuel Ebien, Suleiman Kadade Mohammed, Sunmaila Adamu Bunza, Koshoedo Setonji, Daniel Woyengikuro, and Umar Sani were according to him expelled by the National Executive Committee on November 18,2025, for alleged anti-party activities and gross misconduct, in accordance with the amended 2017 PDP Constitution.

Anyanwu said it is an ‘embarrassing misrepresentation’ that the expelled members have continued to speak and act in the name of the party while urging  party faithful and the general public to disregard their statements or activities noting that they no longer hold membership or authority within the PDP.

 ‘Anybody parading himself as a newly elected national officer of the party is an impostor and a meddlesome person’ he said.
