Tricycle Rider Found Dead In Ilorin After Going Missing For 5 Days …Body Dismembered

After going missing for 5 days, Mr. Musbau Aliu, a resident of Ilorin, the Kwara state capital, who is a commercial tricycle rider, has been found dead .

Spokesperson for the Kwara state police command, Ejire -Adeyemi Toun, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, disclosed in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Tuesday that Aliu’s body was found dismembered with the head and other parts of the body cut off.

She however noted that 3 suspects have since been arrested in connection with the case.

‘The Kwara state Police Command wishes to provide an update on the ongoing investigation into the case of culpable homicide reported on March 10th, 2024, at about 10:00hrs. 

Mr Olarenwaju Saliman of Alore area of Ilorin, reported a disturbing incident involving his brother ; Mr Musibau Aliu at G Division, Oloje. According to Mr Saliman, his brother, a commercial tricycle rider, left home on March 8th, 2024, at about 17:00hrs,  with his  tricycle and had since not returned home. Despite exhaustive efforts to trace him, including repeated calls to his phone number which was unanswered, Mr Aliu remained missing.

On March 10th, 2024, at about 13:30hrs, the command received information regarding the discovery of a headless corpse at an uncompleted building along Okolowo Expressway, by Daru-Salam Area. Upon arrival at the scene, a decomposing male corpse was found with its head, part of the buttocks, and both wrists severed. It was later confirmed by Mr. Saliman that the body was indeed that of his missing brother, Mr. Musibau Aliu.

The deceased  person was identified as the Chairman of the Tricycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (TOAN), Idiose ,Alore.

Following swift investigation, three suspects have been apprehended in connection with this heinous crime. They are:

1. Abdullahi Ibrahim of Medina Area, Ilorin.

2. Ismaila Ajirerin,  38 years, from Akata Compound, Alore , Ilorin.

3. Adeola Adeosun, 40 years, from Omo Compound, Eruda, Ilorin.

The Kwara state Police Command sympathizes with the family of Mr. Musibau Aliu during this period of grief. We are committed to exhaustively pursuing the perpetrators of this dastardly act.
