Kwara state PDP on Friday alleged that the AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq administration has taken steps to harm former Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki’s reputation by using what it called fake documents.
The party in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by its state Publicity Secretary, Prince Tunji Morounfoye however asserted that documents that have to do with activities of KWASUBEB under the Bukola Saraki administration were intact and within arm’s reach to disprove possible allegations that may surface.
‘The Kwara state Peoples Democratic party (PDP) has been informed by some concerned Kwarans that the mediocre Kwara state All Progressives Congress (APC) regime has allegedly started to put together fake and cooked up documents to substantiate its false claims of misdeeds at the Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) against former Senate President, Dr. Abubakar ‘Bukola Saraki (CON).
The Kwara state PDP would like to inform Kwarans of the alleged frantic efforts that are being made to paint Dr Abubakar ‘Bukola Saraki (CON) in a bad light with regard to SUBEB funds.
We at the PDP want to point out that any attempt to carry out such a nefarious activity to frame Dr. Abubakar ‘Bukola Saraki (CON) will fail like every other attempt in the past to label our Leader as corrupt.
We have clear records of how much our administrations received as SUBEB counterpart funds and we have genuine and authentic documents available to back up our claims in this regard. In addition to the above, we have authentic records of the mileage that were covered with such funds and the projects that we executed are still on the ground as a clear proof. Projects do not lie, our landmark signature projects are located in every part of the state’ he said.
‘We at the PDP reiterate that facts don’t lie, and truths are constant. It would be recalled that governor of Kwara state Mal. Abdulrahrman Abdulrazaq had last week, maliciously claimed that the former Senate president, Dr. Abubakar ‘Bukola Saraki (CON) was involved in the misuse of SUBEB funds during his glorious tenure as executive Governor of Kwara state.
The Kwara state governor’s statement has been refuted by our Leader and the governor was issued a warning to retract his false claims and apologize within seven days or be made to face defamation charges’, the statement added.
PDP also submitted that lies and propaganda will not help the ruling party to secure election victory in the upcoming general election in the state saying ‘Kwarans already know that the APC regime has accessed almost half a trillion naira revenue in just over three years in office and they do not have a single completed or inaugurated landmark project to showcase’.
‘We enjoin Nigerians and Kwarans to vote out the unfortunate APC regime and vote the PDP into power to bring Nigeria and Kwara state back on track for more unprecedented development projects that we at the PDP are known for’ the statement added – Team@orientactualmags.com
