Unizik Lecturer Shot Dead In Awka
A lecturer at the Faculty of Education, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra state, was shot dead by unknown gunmen on Tuesday.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned Eze was taking his children to school early in the morning when the gunmen surfaced at his residence and opened fire on him.
The late varsity lecturer had tried to run for his life but his attackers pursued him and shot him dead.
‘We were here this morning when Dr Eze was driving out of his house and suddenly the driver of a Toyota Corolla salon car pulled over near the entrance of his house and when he tried to drive the car in reverse gear , they followed him and shot him in the chest. We rushed him to the General Hospital, Amaku, and the doctor at the hospital confirmed that he was a brought- in -dead patient’ an eyewitness said.
Spokesman for the police in the state, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, said the command was yet to be informed of the incident as at Tuesday afternoon- Team@orientactualmags.com
