Victoria Adeyemi, Former NUJ President’s Mother, Dies In Abuja
Mrs. Victoria Oyeyemi Adeyemi (nee Ibilola), who is the mother of Smart Adeyemi, a former senator and a one-time National President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), is dead.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Mrs Victoria Adeyemi died at her Abuja residence on Wednesday morning.
National President of Iyara Development Association, Dr. Aliyu Badaki submitted in a statement on Thursday that the Iyara community has lost a matriarch, an entrepreneur and a virtuous mother.
‘This is to announce the glorious exit of our dear, lovely grandma, mama, Mrs Victoria Oyeyemi Adeyemi (nee Ibilola). She will always be remembered for her love and passion towards the development of Iyara’ the statement added while extending the community’s condolences to former Senator Adeyemi and the entire Adeyemi family on the passing of Mrs. Victoria.
‘May her soul rest in peace. Our condolences to the entire family, especially the Distinguished Senator Smart Adeyemi and the community in general. Adieu, mama’ the statement added.
