WAFCON 2024: Gov Adeleke Congratulates Rasheedat Ajibade, Other Super Falcons Members…Calls Them ‘Fantastic Ladies’
Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has sent a message of congratulations to members of the women’s national football team, the Super Falcons for winning the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
Recall that the Super Falcons staged a dramatic comeback at Olympic Stadium, Rabat, Morocco, on Saturday night and eventually defeated the Morocco women’s national football team despite having home advantage.
The match ended 3-2.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the governor, who congratulated the Super Falcons in an X.com post, also specially recognized Rasheedat Ajibade, who, he commended for being a great ambassador of Osun State.
