Osun state APC on Saturday described allegations raised by the state PDP that the party was planning to burn down the INEC State Headquarters with the intention to destroy the BVAS machines used during the July 16, 2022 governorship election in the state as spurious, laughable, gibberish, balderdash and jabberwocky .
Mr Kola Olabisi, who is Osun state APC Chairman, Hon Gboyega Famodun’s Media Adviser, in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Saturday night titled ‘RE: APC Plans To Attack INEC Office To Destroy BVAS Machines – Osun PDP’, submitted that the allegations had further confirmed the fact that not everyone who passes through a school is qualified to be classified as being educated.
‘How on earth could someone who calls himself the state caretaker chairman of a party spread such fallacies for reasons which could not be far from having an ulterior motive?
The handpicked and controversial caretaker chairman of the Osun State PDP, Dr Akindele Adekunle, should stop exposing his ignorance on the workings of INEC.
It is a pity that the level of educational attainment of the embattled Osun State PDP caretaker state chairman does not educate him to know that INEC operates a central server at its national headquarters where the details of the governorship election are being safely kept.
The PDP chairman should be educated further that there is no amount of atrocities perpetrated against any part of any state INEC office that is capable of distorting the details of the governorship election.
Unsuspecting members of the society should be wary of fallacious stories from the cooking jar of this Ondo State-born Osun State PDP caretaker committee chairman, who does not have a stake in the state.
The beauty of the whole thing is that the composed story which lacks an iota of element of truth has fallen flat without any capability to either sit or fly.
The allegation by the PDP that the Osun APC is working towards the movement of the governorship election tribunal sittings venue to Abuja is a mere figment of the imagination of the rumour peddler.
The question to ask is how wherever the tribunal is relocated to would be the business of the APC when its confidence in the court of law remains undoubted come rain or shine?
The needless fidgeting and fuss of the Osun PDP over wherever the tribunal deems fit to ease its sittings is an indication that the PDP has something fundamental and spectacular to hide about the governorship election.
As for the preference of Governor Gboyega Oyetola, who is known for being prudent before and while in public office , one needs not be a super economist to submit that the focused and result-oriented governor would prefer that the tribunal sittings venue is in Osun state where the election was held if only to control the additional cost of its prosecution’ he said-Team@orientactualmags.com
