Why DSS Agents Were At Emir Of Kano’s Palace-State Director
Media reports claiming that Department of State Security (DSS) agents were at the palace of the Emir of Kano on Thursday in connection with the developments recorded in the state earlier in the day which had to do with chieftaincy matters have been described as untrue.
Recall that media reports had claimed that DSS agents were deployed to the palace shortly after the state house of assembly dissolved the 4 Emirate Councils created by the Abdulahi Ganduje administration on Thursday.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the State Director, Muhammad Alhassan, who has described the media reports as untrue explained that the First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, was in Kano to attend an event and was also scheduled to visit the Emir’s Palace but later learned that the former Emir was out of town, which had made her cancel plans to visit the palace.
‘We drafted our men as part of our schedules on the visit of the First Lady Oluremi Tinubu but learned that she was not going there and we withdrew our men..TTherefore, the story that our men stormed the Emir’s Palace in the wake of the happenings with regard to the Emir is false, malicious and did not happen’ he said-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
