John Obi Mikel has disclosed that Napoli star , Victor Osimhen is planning to leave his club and currently weighing up his options ahead of the summer transfer window.
25-year-old Victor Osimhen is widely expected to leave the Partenopei at the end of the season, having recently disclosed in an interview with reporters that he has ‘already decided’ what would be his next step.
Victor signed a new contract with Napoli in December which contains a release clause in the region of €120-130m , and he is said to be considering joining Chelsea, Arsenal or Manchester United.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Mikel Obi has however submitted that he would like to have him in Chelsea .
.Speaking at the Web Summit Qatar via Calciomercato.com, Mikel started by discussing the links between Osimhen and Chelsea.
‘I think there is genuine interest on both sides. I’m convinced that Victor wants to come to Chelsea, obviously he wants to follow in my footsteps and the Nigerian players who played for Chelsea, such as Victor Moses, Celestine Babayaro…’. he said.
‘He also has many clubs interested in him, such as PSG, Manchester United, but I am pushing, sending him messages, trying to make sure that there is only one club in his mind: the Blues!’ Mikel Obi added- Team@orientactualmags.com
