Why I Won’t Dignify Gay Rumours With A Response-Desmond Eliot
A popular actor, who is a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon Desmond Elliot , has submitted that he will not dignify what was published by a blogger in which he was alleged to be a gay with a response.
He has described what was done by the blogger in question as a publicity stunt.
The blogger had alleged that several Nigerian celebrities including Desmond are bisexuals.
The popular actor exchanged marriage vows with his wife, Mrs. Victoria Elliot in 2003 and the gay rumours had surfaced when their 21st wedding anniversary is just one month away.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Desmond in an interview with TVC on Friday submitted that he will not dignify the gay allegations with a response.
‘Why would I respond to allegations made against me when it does not affect my life either way?
Secondly, it is an opinion that has been conceived, and I do not think it is necessary for me to confirm whether it is true or not; as long as I’m affecting people positively, I’m good.
If you feel you have gotten identified as something, as long as it is within the law that is your choice. People do not have to accept it, but do what you wish.
So, let me say right here, I am straight. You could not find anyone straighter than me.
If some people want to enjoy themselves through publicity, that is up to them, but I do not care.
