Wike Calls 2027 ‘Missed Opportunity’, Asks PDP To Start Rebuilding Ahead Of 2031

For the PDP, the 2027 presidential election is a missed opportunity, the party should therefore focus attention on rebuilding ahead of the 2031 Presidential election, FCT Minister, Barrister Nyesom Wike, has submitted.

Barrister Wike, who cited bad leadership, added that those who have been in charge of the affairs of the party lack focus, commitment, and do not know what to do.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the minister, who said this during his year-end media chat, also noted that the party should start looking towards 2031.

‘We have a leadership that is not focused, a leadership that does not know what to do, a leadership that does not consider suggestions.

If the leadership is committed, I will come back to say look we have made a mistake why is it that things are happening this way now? What can we do to correct it?

It’s not just about taking over government; we must position ourselves effectively. If the leadership is strong, they need to consider certain things.

By 2027, it’s likely that we may not make it but are we going to allow the party to die? Can’t we start rebuilding now ahead of 2031?

There is nothing that is impossible once you are committed, first of all, what is happening to my party is what I have predicted before. I have warned that if things are not done in the right way this is where we are going to find ourselves. No Nigerian can say they didn’t hear me. I have stated it numerous times.

Leadership is crucial in everything we do, leadership in associations and in government is essential.
