Wike Carries Out Threat As FCTA Revokes 165 C of Os In Abuja… Imoke, Peter Obi, Sam Nda-Isaiah Among Affected Property Owners
Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Mr. Nyesom Wike, has carried out his threat by revoking 165 C of Os in Abuja and prominent Nigerians are reportedly among the affected property owners.
Wike , who had assumed duty immediately after leaving the venue of the swearing -in ceremony of ministers in Abuja last month, had on arrival at the FCTA talked tough , submitting that those who distorted the master plan for Abuja will pay the price for doing such as their buildings would be demolished.
He has since shown that it was not an empty threat after all.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that a document signed by the Permanent Secretary of FCT , Olushade Adeshola in respect of the revocation of the 165 C of Os, cited violation and contravention of the terms of development of the Right of Occupancy.
‘The Federal Capital Territory Administration hereby informs the general public that the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has in the exercise of the powers conferred on him under Section 28 (5) (a) and (b) of the Land Use Act, 1978, revoked the underlisted plots with names and titles as reflected in our records for continued contravention of the terms of development of the Right of Occupancy to wit non- development’ Adesola said.
Areas affected include Maitama, Gudu, Wuye Katampe, Katampe Extension, Wuse 2, Jabi, Utako, Idu Industrial zone and Asokoro .
Mr. Peter Obi, former Senate Chief Whip, Udoma Udoma, former Cross River governor, Liyel Imoke, the first Minister of Niger Delta, Ufot Ekaette and late publisher of Leadership Newspaper, Sam Nda-Isaiah , Kanu Agabi and others have had their names mentioned among the affected property owners-Team@orientactualmags.comDo you have any information you wish to share with us?
