Wike To PDP National Chairman: Anyanwu Not Your Appointee, You Can’t Direct Him To ‘Resume Work’

FCT Minister, Barrister Nyesom Wike on Wednesday reacted to what Acting National Chairman of PDP, Alhaji Umar Damagum said while presiding over a press conference at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja earlier in the day during which he disclosed that Samuel Anyanwu, would now be recognized as National Secretary.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the minister, who spoke during the inauguration of the Arterial Road N20 interchange bridge project in Abuja on Wednesday, asserted that the National Chairman has no authority to give orders or direct Anyanwu to ‘resume work’.

He also mocked the leading opposition party for visiting INEC office before knowing what to do.
‘I watched on national television and heard the acting national chairman directing the national secretary to resume work. The national secretary is not your appointee.
He has been doing his work and will continue to do so. You can’t ask him to resume because of the illegalities you’re perpetrating.
A political party now goes to INEC asking what to do. If, because of your ignorance of the law, you went there, that’s unfortunate. The law doesn’t excuse ignorance’ he submitted while urging party leaders to seek guidance instead of doing things primarily to inflate their ego or protect personal interests.
‘Don’t let ego or monthly allocations mislead you. If you want to learn, come to us , we’ll teach you how to handle it’ the minister said-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
