Winners Emerge In 4th AIF Annual Qur’an Competition In Kwara
Winners have emerged in the 4th Annual Qur’an Competition organized by Al-Lateef Islamic Foundation.
The grand finale was held at Osi Central Mosque with over 40 participants receiving cash and material prizes.
Osi is the headquarters of Ekiti local government, Kwara State.
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that the event held on March 30, 2025, was a testament to the foundation’s dedication to promoting Islamic education and values.
Chief Imam of Osi, Alhaji Saadudeen Abdulsalam Ajisefinni, praised Hajia Alabi Aisha Abd’Lateef, founder of Al-Lateef Islamic Foundation, for her selfless devotion and dedication to serving humanity and promoting Islam while acknowledging her consistent efforts in organizing the Qur’an competition, which has become a cornerstone of Islamic education in the community.
‘The competition, designed to encourage Qur’an recitation and deepen understanding among participants, featured nearly 50 contestants competing in three categories: 5 Juz, 10 Juz, and 20 Juz recitations. Winners received cash prizes along with food parcels and other valuable materials. Notably, all 49 participants received consolation prizes, recognizing their efforts and dedication.
Mallam Abubakar Abdulganiyu, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, expressed his gratitude to the Muslim community, stakeholders, and well-wishers for their support. He commended Hajia Aisha and her husband for their steadfast commitment to the foundation and its initiatives, which have significantly advanced Islamic propagation and poverty alleviation in Osi.
In his closing remarks, Imam Ajisefinni offered prayers for Hajia Aisha’s continued success and divine blessings, urging her to remain resolute in her support for propagation of Islam. He also commended the organizing committee for organizing a successful event.
The Al-Lateef Islamic Foundation Quran Competition has grown into a vital platform for nurturing spiritual growth and fostering unity within the community.
