Woman Angrily Drowns 6-Year-Old Stubborn Daughter In Bayelsa

A woman, Madam Stella, has angrily drowned her 6-year-old daughter, Rachael, in Bayelsa State because she was too stubborn.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the incident happened in Ukubie community, Southern Ijaw Local Government on Monday.

 Stella had reportedly warned Rachael against bathing in the river, but she had ignored this important warning which made her get angry.

 ‘On Monday, she returned home and met her bathing in the river, despite ordering her to come to the riverbank, Rachael refused to do this a development that made her mother feel incensed and she allegedly held Rachel’s hands and threw her into the river twice, leading to her death’ said one of the residents.

‘I regret my actions. I never knew it would happen this way’ Stella had later submitted.

‘I have recorded two deaths already in my paternal family at Ukubie this year. All were painful and heart-touching, but this one was so pathetic’ a relative of Stella, Jeph Nation, lamented on Monday.

In viral videos, Stella, who spoke in Ijaw, was seen surrounded by people while confessing to accidentally killing her daughter.

Spokesman for the state police command ,Musa Mohammed, was said to have noted that the matter has not been officially reported to the police.
