Woman Who Made Her Boyfriend Sustain Scrotal Sac Wounds Remanded In Custody In Ado-Ekiti
Magistrate Olatomiwa Daramola of the Magistrates’ Court, Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State capital, has ordered that 20-year-old Joy Ikoja should be remanded in a correctional facility for allegedly making her boyfriend, Ibrahim Usman sustain scrotal sac injuries.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Ikoja was arraigned on Tuesday and she has been accused of tearing Ibrahim’s scrotal sac.
The police prosecutor, Inspector Adeboye Adesegun, alleged that the defendant committed the offence at about 8p.m on April 12 in the Irona area of Ado-Ekiti.
‘The defendant did unlawfully inflict wounds on one Ibrahim Usman by tearing his scrotal sac.
The defendant on the same date, time and place, did conduct herself in a manner likely to cause the breach of peace in society.
The offence committed is punishable under sections 186, 255 256(a) and 181(d) of Criminal Laws of Ekiti State of Nigeria 2021’ Adesegun said.
The prosecutor urged the court not to grant bail to the defendant while her lawyer , David Ogbede assured that she would not jump bail.
Magistrate Olatomiwa Daramola, in his ruling, refused to grant bail to the defendant and ordered that she should be remanded in the Correctional facility in Ado Ekiti while adjourning the case till April 22 for hearing-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
