
Osun state Governor-Elect, former Senator Ademola Adeleke has promised a change in attitude in respect of the well-being of teachers in the state when he assumes office next month, submitting that teachers deserve better than they are getting now.
Adeleke in a statement issued to mark the World Teachers’ Day 2022 which was made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by his spokesman, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, lauded teachers in Osun state for the sacrifices and dedication they had continued to show to their work, calling them ‘the ladder that powers our dreams to reality’.
‘Teachers are the positive force when it comes to nation- building’ he also noted.
‘On this day, we are availed an opportunity to appreciate them for showing needed dedication in respect of impacting knowledge in us and the role they have continued to play in building a better society.
The time has come for the society to show that they understand their work and reward them appropriately. I can assure you that our administration will provide the necessary supports for teachers in doing their job while their wellbeing will also be our uttermost priority’ the Governor-elect added.
