Young People, Women, Others Declare Support For Gov Idris At Rally Held In Birni Kebbi, Reject ADC
Hundreds of youths, women, and elders from Nasarawa One converged on the Government House, Birnin Kebbi on Saturday to express their unwavering support for Governor Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu), describing the ‘opposition alliance’ and the rebirth of ADC as deceptive.

Chanting solidarity songs, they also chorused ‘Sai Kaura! Sai Kaura!’ while displaying placards with messages that include ‘Sabuwar Tafiya Yaudara ce’ meaning in English ‘The new movement is deceptive’.
They reaffirmed their loyalty to the governor and the All Progressives Congress (APC).
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Mr Yahaya Sarki noted that Senator Muhammad Adamu Aliero, Speaker of Kebbi State House of Assembly, Rt.-Hon. Muhammad Usman Zuru, State APC Chairman, Abubakar Kana Zuru, members of the National and State Assemblies, top government officials, and others joined Dr Nasir Idris in receiving the rallyists at the Government House.

Chairman of APC Nasarawa One, Nasiru Aliyu, told the governor that despite being approached by a former Minister of Justice to defect to ADC, he and his executive members have remained committed to the APC and Governor Idris.
‘Nasarawa One is your constituency. All our stakeholders are fully behind you’ he declared.
Also speaking, the governor’s Chief of Staff , an elder and patron of the Fada Junju Association, Barrister Attahiru Maccido, assured the governor of total support, saying: ‘all the 64 polling stations in Nasarawa One will vote massively for you in 2027. No retreat, no surrender’
Other community elders and patrons of the association, including Engr. Abdullahi Umar Faruq Muslim, Commissioner for Works, Alhaji Abubakar Shamaki, and Alhaji Abubakar Dangaladima (Tukuran Gwandu), reiterated that the ADC movement has no support base in Nasarawa One or anywhere in Kebbi State.
In their separate remarks, Shamaki and Tukura, praised the governor’s honesty, compassion, and leadership style, which, they noted, earned him the trust of the people of the state
‘We will not betray Kauran Gwandu. Those trying to mislead or blackmail you are your enemies, not friends’ Shamaki said.
Governor Nasir Idris thanked the people of Nasarawa One for their loyalty and described the area as dear to his heart.
‘I am a listening governor and will always act in your best interest. My administration is about collective efforts, not government alone’ he said.
Governor Idris emphasized that he is not disturbed by the new rebirth of ADC adding that his administration’s achievements speak for themselves.
‘We came in with a clear agenda of development and empowerment, and we are working on launching one of the best empowerment programmes in Nigeria to improve livelihoods across the state’ he added.
The governor assured that more initiatives are underway in partnership with relevant stakeholders to empower and uplift the people of Kebbi State-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
