2026 Osun Guber: Ooni Ogunwusi Commends Bola Oyebamiji For Being A Unifying Force, Promoter Of Peace
The Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, has urged Osun State APC gubernatorial candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, who is popularly called AMBO, to continue to promote peace and remain a unifying force ahead of the August 15, 2026 governorship election.
The monarch emphasized the need for every politician to embrace peace and harmony before, during and after the governorship election in question.
His Imperial Majesty prayed fervently for the emergence of Oyebamiji, acknowledging the peaceful conduct of the APC governorship candidate while urging him to continue to propagate peace, unity and stability as the election draws near.
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that Oyebamiji and his running mate, Aare Benjamin Kayode Adereti received royal blessings from the highly revered traditional ruler during the visit to his palace in Ile-Ife on Monday.
Mr Oyebamiji noted that the purpose of the visit was to seek royal blessings from the coveted stool of Ooni before embarking on electioneering campaign while describing this as a necessity in view of the significance of the stool of Ooni and the fact that Ile-Ife is the cradle of human race and the sociocultural and heritage nerves of Yoruba race.
He sought for continued support of the monarch and Ooni’s palace in the journey to collectively rebirth Osun and place her on the pedestal of sustainable socioeconomic transformation, growth and development.
