FCT Minister, Mr Nyesom Wike submitted on Tuesday that he would have ‘delivered’ if President Bola Tinubu had tasked him with ensuring electoral victory for APC gubernatorial candidate , Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji in the gubernatorial election held in Osun State on August 15, 2026.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Mr Wike, who said this while talking to reporters in Abuja on Tuesday, also noted that the president was not interested in ensuring that Osun becomes an APC-controlled state by any means necessary.
‘If the President had wanted to win the Osun State election at all costs, I would have been there and we would have won it, and there’s nothing the governor can do’ he said.
A veteran journalist, Chief Dele Momodu has however told the FCT minister that Osun State people would have taken him down a peg if he had taken up such a role while adding that Governor Ademola Adeleke is different from Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
