2027: Let’s Work Together For Brighter Future, Rafiu Ajakaye Tells Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun APC Members, Other Residents

Following his nomination as Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun APC Reps candidate, Dr Rafiu Ajakaye has sought the support of party members and other residents of the federal constituency for his candidacy.

Ahead of the 2027 General Election, he has also emphasized the need to ‘work together’ for a brighter future for Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun federal constituency.

Dr Rafiu Ajakaye in a statement he issued on Friday titled ‘MY GRATITUDE & APPEAL FOR SUPPORT’,  thanked party leaders and stakeholders in Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun federal constituency for their support while urging all APC members to ‘let us work tirelessly for the victory of our great party at all levels’.

He also specially thanked President Bola Tinubu and his former boss, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for their support.

Dr Rafiu Ajakaye who was appointed as Governor Abdulrazaq’s Chief Press Secretary in 2019, had retained his position until he resigned to launch reps bid a few months ago.

‘I extend my profound gratitude to the leaders, stakeholders, and members of our great party (APC) across Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency and beyond for their support, which has culminated in my emergence as the flagbearer of our party for the 2027 House of Representatives election in the constituency.

I am especially grateful to my esteemed compatriots who also ran the race. All of you are clearly among the good and the great of our communities, and you will always have my respect.

With the primaries now behind us, I humbly seek your continued support, understanding, solidarity, and goodwill as we prepare for the 2027 general election. Together, let us work tirelessly for the victory of our great party at all levels. United in purpose, we can secure a brighter future for the Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun Federal Constituency.

In closing, I express my heartfelt appreciation to the leadership of our party at all levels, particularly the President of the Federal Republic, HE Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and the Governor of Kwara State, HE AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON.
