2027 Presidential Election: Ekiti Accord Party Bigwigs Drum Up Support For Gbenga Hashim, Highlight His ‘Good Qualities’, ‘Value Proposition’

Ahead of the 2027 general election, Ekiti State Accord Party has reaffirmed its support for Dr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim’s presidential bid while also declaring its readiness to mobilize extensive grassroots support for his candidacy across the state.

A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that the party leaders and members made the declaration of support on Thursday during the rally held in Ado-Ekiti ahead of  today’s governorship election, which attracted party leaders, women groups, youth supporters, and grassroots members from across the state.

Speaking at the rally, chairman of the party in the state, Mr Philip Adeniji described the gathering as a clear demonstration of the party’s unity, commitment, and preparedness for future electoral contests.

According to him, members of the party remain firmly behind Olawepo-Hashim as the Accord Party’s presidential candidate, expressing confidence in his ability to provide a new direction for Nigeria.

‘We gathered here today to reaffirm Dr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim as our presidential candidate for the 2027 general election, and we are throwing our full weight behind him.

He remains our candidate, and nobody can change that. We will work tirelessly for him, and we are confident that he will emerge victorious’ he said.

The party chairman also asserted that Olawepo-Hashim possesses the leadership qualities and experience required to address the nation’s challenges and restore hope to Nigerians.

‘Hashim will rescue Nigeria from the misgovernance and hardship Nigerians are experiencing under the current administration’ he added.

Also speaking, the Southwest Coordinator of the Gbenga Hashim Solidarity Movement, Alhaji Olaniru Abass described the rally as evidence of the growing acceptance of Olawepo-Hashim’s political message across the Southwest and beyond.

According to him, the Accord Party presidential hopeful combines experience, vision, and national appeal needed to lead Nigeria at a critical period in its history.

‘Our gathering here today is to reaffirm our support for Hashim as the candidate of the Accord Party. He is the leader many Nigerians are waiting for, and we are prepared to support his emergence’ Hon Abass said.

 The state Accord Party Woman Leader, Funmilayo Adeyeye, assured supporters that women across the state will continue to play a leading role in grassroots mobilization for the presidential candidate, while urging the party’s national leadership to sustain support for his candidacy.

Similarly, a party leader, Samuel Abiola, said the endorsement of Olawepo-Hashim reflected the confidence members have in his leadership qualities and vision for a united, peaceful, and prosperous Nigeria.

The state campaign coordinator, Sunday Dada submitted that the mandate given to Olawepo-Hashim by party members will not be compromised or surrendered to external interests.
