48-Year-Old Man Arrested For Raping Neighbour’s 10 –Year-Old Daughter In Abuja
A 48-year-old man, Adekola Adeshina, has been arrested and taken into custody by the police in Abuja for allegedly committing statutory rape.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned he was accused of raping his neighbour’s ten-year-old daughter.
FCT Commissioner of Police (CP), Sadiq Abubakar, who disclosed this while showing the suspect to the public at the command’s headquarters, said he was arrested after Rose Solomon ,who resides behind Prince & Princess Estate, Abuja, reported the incident.
He explained that during custodial interrogation, the suspect confessed in a written statement that he has had sexual intercourse with the victim several times.
‘While the 10-year-old girl is undergoing medical examination, we wish to call on parents and guardians to pay a great level of attention to changes in behavioural patterns of their wards and ensure that measures are put in place to protect them from sexual crimes’ he said.
