Imo Lawmaker Dies 1 Month After Losing Reps Election
A member of the Imo state House of Assembly, Authur Egwim, is dead.
He had until his death on Monday, represented Ideato North state constituency in the state House of Assembly.
Egwim , a member of the APC, was first elected to the Imo State House of Assembly in 2015, he left the party for Action Alliance in 2019 and retained his parliament seat.
The deceased state lawmaker, who was the House Committee Chairman on Finance and Public Accounts, House Committee Chairman on Chieftaincy Affairs and Autonomous Communities and House Committee Chairman on Judiciary, later returned to the APC.
Ahead of the 2023 general election, Egwim , once again, left the APC for APGA and was the party’s candidate for Ideato North/Ideato South reps election which was eventually won by Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere of the PDP- Team@orientactualmags.com
