Gov Abdulrazaq ‘Excited’ As FG Gives BUA Group Go-Ahead To Fix 4 Roads In Kwara
Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara state was over the moon on Wednesday while disclosing a new development that had just been recorded.
He announced that the Federal Government has given BUA Group the go-ahead to rehabilitate four major roads in the state.
The governor in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that the roads in question will be constructed under the Infrastructure Tax Credit Scheme (Executive Order 7).
‘Today, our efforts to further open up our state for socioeconomic growth yielded huge returns as the Federal Executive Council (FEC) graciously granted approvals to the BUA Group for the rehabilitation of four major roads in Kwara State.
These are Kosubosu-Kaiama-Bode Saadu (130km); Bacita-Shonga-Lafiagi (83km); Eiyenkorin-Afon-Offa-Odo Ottin (49km); and Okuta-Bukuro Road, which connects to the Benin Republic (32km). These come to 294km in all.
These roads will be constructed under the Infrastructure Tax Credit Scheme (Executive Order 7). Upon completion, these projects will revolutionize and ease road trips within Kwara and neighbouring states, with huge potentials for development and food security.
We thank President Muhammadu Buhari for this landmark development. We similarly commend BUA for keying into this laudable initiative. Our administration will offer all the necessary supports to make these projects come through for the benefit of our people’ he said- Team@orientactualmags.com
