My Administration Will Not Victimize Any Civil Servant – Gov Nasir Idris
The governor of Kebbi state , Dr. Nasir Idris, who is the Kauran Gwandu has promised that his administration will not transfer any civil servant because of political differences or for the reason that such a person had opposed his emergence as governor.
Dr Nasir’s media aide, Mr. Yahaya Sarki noted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com that he said this in response to some advice by leaders of the Izala movement who paid him a congratulatory visit at the Government House, Birnin-Kebbi on Wednesday.
The governor, who remarked that he was aware that some civil servants in the state had laboured to stop him from achieving election victory, however noted that he has forgiven all those who worked against him, pledging to be fair and compassionate to the people of Kebbi state in the task of governance.
Dr. Nasir Idris also described his administration as people -oriented which is premised on service to humanity.
The governor thanked members of the Kaduna Izala group for the fraternal visit and prayers for a successful tenure in office.
In separate remarks, the Deputy National Chairman of the movement, Sheikh Abbas Jega and the Chairman, National Working Committee, Sheikh Abubakar Giro, reminded the governor that leadership entails difficulty and hardship which demands patience and perseverance from leaders in order to ‘deliver’.
The Islamic scholars urged him to seek advice from appropriate persons before policy formulation and implementation, he should also according to them appoint most competent people to sensitive positions, avoid divulging official secrets and ignore the antics of known and unknown enemies- the envious and hypocrites.
