Stolen Fowl Revenge: 9-Year-Old Boy Sets House Ablaze To Kill Stepmothers, Stepbrothers In Yobe

In an act of revenge for being punished for stealing a fowl, a 9-year-old boy angrily set a house on fire in Yobe State, killing his two stepbrothers and two stepmothers.

.Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the incident occurred in Rugan Badal, a village in Karasuwa Local Government.

The young boy disclosed that he got angry that his father punished him for stealing a fowl and his stepmothers and stepbrothers were made to become victims of misdirected revenge. Although no one knew he was the one behind the dastardly act, he however had to confess after the 3-day fidau prayer.

‘I carried one of our fowls to sell but looking at my age , they reported me to my father, and I was beaten. The following day, I bought ₦50 worth of matches in the neighbourhood while my two stepmothers and two younger brothers were asleep; I set our house on fire as revenge for what my father did to me,

Although when the house caught fire, I screamed out for help and people came to rescue them, I did not tell them that I was the one who did it until after three-day fidau prayer; I now confessed and was later arrested by policemen and brought here to Damaturu’ he told reporters at the Yobe State Police headquarters on Tuesday.

His father, Abubakar Idi was also there.
