Pastor Arrested For Sexual Abuse In Abia…Church Expels Him…Victim Is 13-Year-Old Girl
A pastor of the Assemblies of God Church, Chukwuemeka Orji, has been arrested and taken into custody by the police in Abia state .
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that he has been accused of a repeated sexual abuse of his 13-year-old female domestic worker.
Spokesperson for the police in the state, Chinaka Maureen, who has confirmed Orji’s arrest, said an investigation into the case ‘is ongoing’.
The 60-year-old pastor had gotten allowed to leave with the girl after promising to sponsor her education but he had allegedly begun to have sex with her since last year.
The 13-year-old girl disclosed that when she started living with Orji, he had regularly made sexual advances to her but she had refused until he raped her in 2022 and subsequently made it a regular thing.
Orji got in the soup on Thursday, June 15, 2023, when he attempted to have sex with her but discovered that the girl was on her period.
He had though forced her to have oral sex with him, Orji still decided to punish her and the victim who had got pushed to the wall, later told her class teacher who notified the proprietor of the school.
The proprietor informed the Executive Director of Vivacious Development Initiative, Lady Nwosu and she had in turn told Chuka Okoye , who ensured that Orji got picked up by the police.
The Aba District Superintendent of Assemblies of God Church, Rev. Dr Don Njoku has disclosed that Orji had since gotten expelled from the ministry.
‘Assemblies of God Church is a holiness organization; we don’t support promiscuity of any kind. What our pastor did is what we preach against. Consequently, even if the announcement is not made official yet, he knows he has been sanctioned.
He knows that in our constitution, anybody that does such a thing is expelled from the church and we will be going to his church on Sunday to tell the members to put an official approach to it and to tell them to cheer up and continue in the race because when a soldier is hit by a bullet, it does not make other soldiers to shrink, they continue but all they will need to do is to guard themselves more, knowing that in battle, people fall and people die.
So, obviously Rev. Chukwuemeka Orji is suspended and disfellowshipped from the ministry. Even if the government doesn’t do anything to him, this is what we do when our member does a thing such as that because what he did is what we prohibit, what the Bible prohibits and what we speak and stand against’ he said-Team@orientactualmags.com
