Osun APC To Party Members : Stay Away From Omoluabi Caucus…Aregbesola Planning To Launch Legal Battle Against Us

Sequel to the launch of a new political group, Omoluabi Progressives by the former governor of Osun state and a one-time  Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, in Ilesa on Tuesday, the state  APC  has urged members and supporters of the party in the state to be wary of the antics of the  former minister, and keep the new group at arm’s length ‘because of its diabolical intention and motive’.

It would be recalled that Aregbesola and  his  loyalists ,who were members of the defunct The Osun Progressives (TOP)  had converged on Ilesa  on Tuesday for the inauguration of the  new political group in question,  Omoluabi Progressives.

The state APC chairman , Sooko Tajudeen Lawal in a statement issued in Osogbo and made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by the party’s Director of Information, Chief Kola Olabisi, submitted that Aregbesola launching a new political group ‘is a mere attention-seeking charade created in order to give a false hope for his blind followers’.

The party said Aregbesola  had just  done  this after three quarters of  his loyalists have taken appointments from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)  adding that  it had just  occurred to him that he would have to replace TOP with a new political group.

APC also alleged that misgovernment and errors recorded on Aregbesola’s watch were played up by the PDP against all the APC candidates in the series of the elections that were held in the state.

‘Is it because Aregbesola has lost at the Federal level, Lagos and Osun states that he has resorted to lightening the gullible ones with pap in Osun state?

It is worthwhile to remind Aregbesola at this juncture that those that he sent to the PDP government and are paying second fiddle are now regretting their actions and inactions.

It is a pity that the former Osun state governor is not in tune with the fact that the people of the state are now wiser and they no longer trust him, Aregbesola should know that the Osun state APC of today is intact unlike those inglorious years when he was dictating the pace as the governor, the state party chairman and the Speaker of the state House of Assembly.

It should be known to Aregbesola that the Osun politics of the APC extraction of today is far better than what it used to be when he would be the sole contributor during party meetings.

I will implore the immediate past Minister of Interior to let the APC breathe and take a deserving reset in order to be in tune with the political reality of today.

The people of Osun state in general and the APC members in particular have gotten Aregbesola’s prank that it is when he wants to cause  havoc that he comes up with such a satanic inauguration.

Is it not surprising that Aregbesola has become an instrument of the opposition by his actions and inactions!

What informed the formation of a group by Aregbesola now when there is no election around the corner?

It is disheartening and disgusting that Aregbesola could stoop so low to have relegated himself to a sectional APC leader in Ilesa.

It is worthwhile to inform Aregbesola that since he wittingly walked out of the party that made him a minister about four years ago, the Osun state chapter of the APC has been made attractive.

For instance, after Aregbesola’s exit from the APC, there was a smooth transition; quality people have been joining the party while the same cannot be said of the ruling party in the state.

After Aregbesola’s exit from the party that he failed to vote in any of the elections in the party, we have been producing ministers, National Secretaries among other political officers.

Has it ever appealed to Aregbesola in his subconscious that he is being bugged down by low self-esteem and domineering spirit in his journey of life?

Why is it that he is always not at ease where he cannot dominate the other persons? 

It is doubtful if he has ever thought it necessary to remember those patriots who lost their lives during the 30-month litigation that heralded his becoming the state governor between 2007 and 2010?

Again, we are not unaware of his ferocious search for pliable judicial officers through whom he intends to rock the administrative boat of the APC from the backdoor.

But mark it; if a wicked man makes a statement, it isn’t a wicked man that will deliver the verdict. Aregbesola, enough is enough’ the party submitted-Team@orientactualmags.com
