NUT Honours Kebbi Gov With ‘Award of Excellence’ In Abuja

The governor of Kebbi state, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, who is the Kauran Gwandu, has received an ‘Award of Excellence’ from the national body of the Nigeria Union of Teachers, (NUT).
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Mr. Yahaya Sarki noted that the Kebbi state Chief Executive received the award during the event held to mark this year’s World Teachers’ Day at the Eagle Square, Abuja.

‘The NUT President, Audu Amba presented the award to Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, on behalf of the good Nigerian teachers.
The NUT President said the ‘Golden Prize’ award conferred on the Kebbi state governor by the Nigerian teachers was in recognition of his being a visible and practical teacher- friendly governor ditto education.
The state Deputy Governor, Sen. Abubakar Umar Tafida, led a high-level delegation to receive the award on behalf of the governor.
Members of the Kebbi state delegation, who joined the Deputy Governor in receiving the award on behalf of the governor were, Hon. Zayyanu Umar Aliero ,Commissioner for Special Duties, Hon. Abubakar Dutsin Mari, Commissioner for local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon.
