Abducted Kwara Lawmaker’s Wife, Children Regain Freedom…5 Suspects Arrested
The wife and children of Hon. Lawal Soliu Ayanshola, a member of the Kwara state House of Assembly, who were abducted on Monday, have regained their freedom.
Recall that gunmen had attacked the lawmaker’s residence in Shao, Moro local government , at about 1:00 am on Monday had taken away the victims.
Lawal represents Ipaiye/Malete/Olooru state constituency .
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that the abductees regained their freedom late Wednesday, at about 8pm, following discreet efforts of the security agencies and the Kwara State Government.
‘At least five members of the gang that abducted them have also been arrested following discreet intelligence and surveillance works by all the teams involved’ the statement added-Team@orientactualmags.com
