Gov Sanwo-Olu’s Deputy Chief Of Staff Dies After Short Illness

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s Deputy Chief of Staff, Mr. Gboyega Soyannwo, is dead.

 He was said to have died  on Wednesday after a  short illness.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotosho, disclosed this in a statement he issued on Wednesday  titled ‘Transition’ while noting that he died at 55.

‘With deep sorrow, the Lagos state Government announces the passing of the Deputy Chief of Staff to Mr Governor, Mr Gboyega Soyannwo. 

Mr. Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on behalf of the Government and people of Lagos, sends his condolences to the Soyannwo family’ the statement said

Omotosho added that Sanwo-Olu broke the news of  Gboyega Soyannwo ‘s death to cabinet members  during  the State Executive Council meeting on Wednesday

‘I have lost a brother and a servant of the people’  the governor was quoted to have submitted during the cabinet meeting..
