
Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi has expressed the need for the Federal Government to increase annual budgetary allocation to education. in order to improve the quality of education in the country.
Fadahunsi added that this will also help to reposition the education sector at all levels .
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by his media aide , Pastor Sam Segun Progress noted that the Senator, who said this during the presentation of educational materials to some primary and high schools in Ile-Ife , Osun state ., added that investment in education is the best investment any government can make with an unquantifiable positive effect.



The senator also noted that he made the educational materials available to the beneficiaries to reduce the burden of educational expenses on their parents.
‘A lot of parents are finding it difficult to buy exercise books and some other educational materials for their children. So , I chose to make some resources available for the purchase of the educational materials that we have distributed to the students’ he said.
The items distributed to the beneficiaries include 2A, 2B, 2D exercise books , 40 leaves and 60 leaves exercise books, pens and pencils.
Schools that had their students among the beneficiaries include Oduduwa College, Sabo, Baptist Primary School, Road 7, Ife Girls High School, Lagere , AUD Primary School, Ogbondo, and St. Philips Grammar School, Omi Okun.
Osun state Commissioner for Education, Hon Dipo Eluyemi, Chairman, Osun state Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB). , Hon Ibukun Fadipe aka IBK, the state Commissioner for Empowerment, Hon Bayo Ogungbangbe and the senator’s Legislative Aide, Hon Ayo Awodirepo were among dignitaries at the event.
