Media Reports Claiming Army Chief Has Resigned ‘Untrue’- Director Of Army Public Relations

Members of the public have been urged to ignore media reports claiming that the Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Taoreed Lagbaja, who became the army chief on June 19, 2023, has resigned from his position.

Recall that media reports had claimed that the army chief submitted his resignation letter to President Bola Tinubu 24 hours after surviving an assassination attempt .
