Nurudeen Adeyemi Calls 2024 Kwara LG Elections Outcome ‘Legacy-Burnishing Devt’, Urges New LG Leaders To Prioritize Good Governance
Engineer Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, a Kwara State APC bigwig, has described the sweeping victory earned by the party in the local government elections held in the state on Saturday, September 21,2024, as a legacy-burnishing development, noting that it has burnished Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s legacy of ‘election victory’ .
Engineer Nurudeen Adeyemi in a statement he issued to congratulate all the new local government chairmen and councilors which was made available to Team@orientactualmags.com urged the new local government leaders to be magnanimous, charismatic, and functional in order to better the lives of the people at the grassroots.
‘The sweeping victory of our dear party, the APC, in the last Saturday’s local government elections is a good repeat of AA’s electoral sweeps in 2019 and 2023. Apart from this, the current administration headed by Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has implemented many social impactful policies and programmes with immediate, medium, and long-term benefits to all Kwarans.
From the election results, the people of Kwara are informed and enlightened beyond sentiments. The voter turnout, the enabling and peaceful atmosphere of the electoral processes, the displayed civility on the part of the electorates and others, are evidence of maturity from Kwarans.
To the winners across the 16 LGAs (Chairmen and Councilors), congratulations to you all. As you take the mantle of an independent leadership, be magnanimous, charismatic, and functional so as to better the lives of the people at the grassroots. You are the closest government to our people. Stay with them; solve their developmental, security, and social problems with needed wisdom and administrative skills.
