Kwara State University, Malete, (KWASU) clarified and asserted on Tuesday that the young man reportedly killed by cops in the Tanke area of Ilorin, a few days ago, Mr. Aiyeyemi Sulaimon Olayinka, who media reports had claimed to be a student at the institution, had actually lost his studentship since 2018.
Dr. Saeedat Aliyu , who is the Ag. Director, University Relations , KWASU, noted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com that Mr Aiyeyemi Sulaimon Olayinka had voluntarily withdrawn from the Department of Statistics at the institution during the 2018/2019 session.
‘The Management of Kwara State University is compelled to react to media reports claiming that the misconduct victim in Tanke area, Ilorin, is a student at the institution.
Records in the University show that Aiyeyemi Sulaimon Olayinka had voluntarily withdrawn from the Department of Statistics at the institution during the 2018/2019 session when he was in 200 level.
