Raheem Adedoyin Hails Alakawa’s Appointment As LNRBDA Chairman…Thanks President Tinubu, Gov Abdulrazaq

Kwara State APC chieftain, Alhaji Raheem Adedoyin, has sent a message of congratulations to Hon. Abdullateef Gidado Alakawa on his appointment as Chairman of the Lower Niger River Basin Development Authority, Ilorin, Kwara State.

Alhaji Raheem Adedoyin in a statement he issued in Ilorin and made available to Team@orientactualmags.com also congratulated two other Kwarans ,who have been appointed as Executive Directors, while thanking Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for ‘facilitating these high-level federal appointments’ .

‘I join millions of our compatriots in Kwara State to thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for the appointment of Alhaji Abdullateef Alakawa as Chairman of the Lower Niger River Basin Development Authority, Ilorin.

I also felicitate two other Kwarans- Engr. Babajamu Adeniran and Engr. Alanamu Ayinla Abolore, who have been appointed as Executive Directors in the same organization. 

I congratulate our performing governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON for facilitating these high-level federal appointments as yet another evidence of his national influence and his endearing reward system. 

It is not surprising that Alakawa’s appointment has elicited widespread jubilation. A grassroots politician, he is known for his political dexterity, his strong electoral values and his high level of competency. 

Alakawa’s contributions to Kwara’s progressive political development are significant. A former firebrand Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party ( PDP) in Kwara State, he was a driving force in the OtoGe movement that swept away the old political order in our state.  As Governor AbdulRazaq’s Special Adviser on Political Affairs during his first term, the political czar helped to keep alive the spirit of OtoGe in governance. 

Alakawa’s political life is a lesson in perseverance, loyalty , political wisdom and divine guidance. 

This is one federal appointment to a homegrown politician that excites me. I’m confident  that he will use his position to bring smiles to more faces of our people.
