Gov Oyebanji To Ekiti Residents: No N25,000 Xmas Cash Transfer From Me, Beware Of Fraudsters
Ekiti State Government has urged citizens and residents of the state to ignore an advertisement on social media claiming that N25,000 cash grant is being made available to the people of the state by Governor Biodun Oyebanji.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the state government cautioned the people of the state against being deceived by fraudsters in a statement issued on Thursday by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Mr. Yinka Oyebode.
The state government described the information on social media in respect of this as baseless while cautioning members of the public against falling prey to fraudulent schemes.
‘This is to inform the general public that the information circulating regarding a ₦25,000 Christmas cash grant from the governor of Ekiti State, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, is false and should be disregarded.
The governor does not engage in any form of cash grant or cash distribution through unofficial channels or online platforms. We urge the people of the state to remain vigilant and not to provide personal information to unauthorized websites or individuals who are out to defraud them.
