Saraki ‘s Aide Presents Grinding Machine, Dryer To Patigi Sport Festival Winners, Receives ‘Appreciation Certificate’
An upwardly mobile young man, Mr. Baba Idris was among the dignitaries that attended the annual Patigi Sport Festival that was held in Patigi , Kwara State on Thursday, December 26, 2024,
Two among winners of the 2024 Patigi Sport Festival got a grinding machine and a dryer respectively courtesy of Mr Baba Idris, a prince of the ancient town.
The beneficiaries are the winner in the Female Junior Marathon category and a female cyclist who also led others in her category while he also ‘reached’ out to some among the participants.
Mr. Baba Idris, who is former Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki’s aide, also paid homage to the Etsu Patigi, HRH, Alhaji Umar Bologi II at his palace during which he expressed his gratitude for the monarch’s fatherly guidance and unflinching support since the death of his father.
Patigi youths also presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Mr Baba Idris in recognition of his unwavering support for the people of the town citing the scholarships he offered to students at Patigi Secondary, Etsu Ibrahim Chatta Secondary School and the Community Secondary School Lade following their performances in the Quiz Competition organized by the Kwara State Government in 2023.
