Campaign Posters: Osun APC ‘Indirectly’ Points Finger At Aregbesola’s Supporters, Says Oyetola Not Involved

Osun State APC on Wednesday reacted to the campaign posters seen in Osogbo featuring Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy as gubernatorial aspirant ahead of the 2026 gubernatorial election in the state.

The party urged members of the public to disregard the campaign posters in question submitting that the minister has no connections with it.

‘The printing and pasting of the campaign posters are the handiwork of the disgruntled elements whose ulterior motive is to destabilize the party after they had tried all possible means which ended up in futility.

We know where the promoters of the fake posters are coming from and their mission to unsettle the party and cause cataclysm which has refused to either sit or stand.

Our disappointment as the topmost opposition party in Osun State today is that the faceless promoters and leg soldiers of this obnoxious development lack tact and diplomacy as a proverbial witch roared yesterday and a child kicks the bucket the same day. Who does not know that it was the devilish witch that killed the innocent child?

The long and short of the analogy is that the state leader of the party who is the immediate past governor of Osun State did not print any campaign poster for any political ambition talk less of pasting the same as falsely credited to him in the said posters.

The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy did not direct any one to either print or paste any campaign poster for him be it for socio-political or economic purposes.

The printing and pasting of the  campaign posters was the use of propaganda and stratagem by the political detractors of  Alhaji Oyetola which was the manifestation of a joke taken too far in order to unjustifiably lower his repute in the estimation of the forward-looking members of our party and our numerous supporters across the nooks and crannies of Osun State’ the party submitted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by its spokesman, Mr Kola Olabisi on Wednesday while making a veiled reference to former Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola’s supporters as sponsors of the campaign posters..

‘Our joy is that the metaphorical arrow being shot by the emissaries of rift has missed its target.  We should expect more of the conjectured stories from the expired politicians who are deeply pained by their forceful severance from the  progressive party.
