84-Year-Old Pedophile Arrested For Raping 8-Year –Old Girl In Ogun

84-year-old Stephen Jack  has been arrested and taken into custody by the police in Ogun state.   

He  has been accused of statutory rape and the victim, whose identity was not disclosed, is an eight –year- old girl.

Team@orientactualmags.com  learned spokesman for the Nigeria Police Force in Ogun state,  Abimbola Oyeyemi,  a Superintendent of Police, who disclosed this in a statement issued on Saturday in Abeokuta, called the suspect a notorious pedophile.

The octogenarian, who according to him  lives in Okun Owa area of Ijebu Ode, was arrested after policemen at the  Obalende divisional headquarters were informed of the development.

He said the girl’s father had told the police that he discovered that  his daughter  had a vagina trauma and when asked what had gone wrong?  She had informed him that the suspect had sex with her.

Oyeyemi said the DPO of Obalende division, Murphy Salami, immediately took necessary steps and had the octogenarian arrested.

 ‘Preliminary investigation revealed that the old man is a known pedophile in the area’  Oyeyemi said. 

He added that the victim had been taken to the General Hospital, Ijebu Ode for medical treatment. 

The Commissioner of Police, Lanre Bankole has according to him  directed the transfer of the suspect to the State Criminal Investigation Departments for more investigation and possible prosecution.

 Rape is punishable by a minimum of 12 years in prison without the possibility of a fine and a maximum of life sentence- Team@orientactualmags.com
