Yes, Kwankwaso May Emerge As President Tinubu’s Running mate In 2027-NNPP Bigwig
Former governor of Kano State, Alhaji Musa Rabiu Kwankwaso may emerge as President Bola Tinubu’s running mate in 2027 and if this is done, there is absolutely nothing wrong with such a ‘political proposition’, an NNPP big wig, Mr. Ladipo Johnson, has submitted.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Johnson said this on Monday while appearing as a guest on Channels Television’s ‘The Morning Brief’ programme.
Kwankwaso, a former Defence minister, is currently the national leader of New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
Mr Johnson also noted that asking Kwankwaso to be the APC vice presidential candidate is not insulting.
‘It’s not insulting to offer him (the vice president slot); whether he accepts or not is a different thing’ he submitted while also confirming that overtures are being made to the former Kano State governor in respect of the ‘political proposition’.
‘I’ve been with Senator Kwankwaso since 2013, 2014 and it’s always about the beliefs of the moment and whether those you are going to get involved with would allow you or make sure that such things happen.
Yes, there are rumours at the moment but it is a possibility because after the 2023 elections, we said we were open to discussions with anyone who wants to move forward.
