For The 2nd Time In 3 Months, Gov Adeleke Says He’s Not Planning To Leave PDP For APC

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State submitted at the weekend that quitting PDP is not ‘under consideration’ while describing rumours that he is planning to leave the party for APC as untrue.

This is the second time the governor would be doing this in 3 months.

Recall that Governor Ademola Adeleke had on May 1,2025, during the meeting attended by leaders, elders and top federal and state officials of Osun State PDP in Osogbo declared unequivocally that he was not planning to leave PDP.

A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by his spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed at the weekend,once again, described rumours claiming  that the governor is set to leave PDP for APC as untrue.

‘The state governor notes with concern the widespread rumours and he has reassured his supporters and admirers that he remains a member of the PDP and the leader of the party in the state’ the statement said.

Governor Adeleke, who restated his preoccupation with the implementation of his administration’s five- point agenda, urged Osun State people to ignore the fake news, promising more delivery of good governance and democratic dividends.

‘I assure the good people of Osun State that I remain part and parcel of the PDP family.
