Peter Obi Restates Commitment To ‘Opposition Alliance’ But Says He‘ll Launch 2nd Presidential Bid In 2027

Former governor of Anambra State, Mr Peter Obi submitted on Sunday that he would be launching his second presidential run in 2027 while noting that no one has discussed with him or talk about the idea of having him as Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s running mate in the next presidential election.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Mr Peter Obi, who said this while appearing on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics programme on Sunday, added that he has what it takes to be the nation’s president.

‘I’m going to contest for the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and I believe I am qualified for it’ Mr Peter Obi submitted while commenting on the possibility of emerging as vice presidential candidate.

 ‘This is not in play; nobody has ever discussed that. People assume so many things. Nobody has ever discussed with me whether I am going to be A or B or C’ he added.

The former governor, who was the LP presidential candidate in the 2023 presidential election, also noted that he remains a vibrant member of the party while however restating commitment to the ‘opposition alliance’ against President Bola Tinubu.
