ENACT Delivers On Promise As Families Of Fallen, Injured Kwara South Vigilantes Receive N600,000
ENACT which is the brainchild of Chief Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, who represents North Central on the Board of TETFUND., on Saturday honoured the promise made during the visit of its officials to communities in Ifelodun local government, Kwara State on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.

Recall that the delegation had visited residents of the communities in question to assess their living situation and suggest ways to tackle insecurity in the local government.
Members of the delegation include Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq’s Special Assistant on Digital Innovations, Hon. Ishola Kayode, Elder Oyin Zubair Olaitan, a community development advocate, and Hon. Sulaiman Dudu, Kwara State APC Youth Leader.
To motivate the vigilantes and the local hunters, ENACT had announced the establishment of a N10 million  Kwara South Security Trust Fund that will provide death benefits of N250,000 (two hundred and fifty thousand naira) for families of vigilantes and local hunters who die in line of duty and N100,000 (one hundred thousand naira) for those who get injured in line of duty..
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that ENACT has gotten the Trust Fund ‘activated’ barely three days after announcing its establishment.
The establishment of the Trust Fund had a retroactive effect as three established cases that happened before Wednesday were made to produce the first set of beneficiaries.
A total of N600,000 was made available to families of fallen and injured vigilantes in Kwara South on Saturday.
N250,000 each for families of two fallen vigilantes; Jagun of Igbaja and Oluode of Bankole and N100,000 for the family of an injured vigilante, Paso.

ENACT praised Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s leadership while commending him for visiting Babanla to get a first-hand view of the situation while adding that ‘the governor is assiduously working on both short-term and long-term solutions to the issue of security challenges in the state.
Sooner rather than later, peace and normalcy will return to Kwara South. We thank His Excellency for doing his best under very difficult and challenging circumstances’.-Team@orientactualmags.com  Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
