Infrastructure Devt: Gov Radda Calls Gov Idris ‘Role Model’ For Northwest
Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina State has described Kebbi State governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, as a role model for the Northwest citing ‘infrastructure development’.
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by Governor Idris’ Special Adviser on Media, Mr Yahaya Sarki noted that the Katsina State governor said this while talking to journalists at the Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport, Birnin Kebbi, on Saturday.
He congratulated the people of Kebbi State for choosing Comrade Nasir Idris as their governor.
‘We are in Birnin Kebbi to witness the holy matrimony between our son, Salihu Dahiru Mangal, and Engr. Hawwa’u Hassan Kangiwa, during which Governor Idris served as the Waliyy, giving out her hand in marriage with a dowry of ₦200,000’ he said.
Radda commended the warm reception accorded to his delegation, noting that they were well received while also praising the infrastructural transformation of Kebbi and citing good roads, solar-powered streetlights, and modern buildings.
‘My brother and colleague, His Excellency Nasir Idris, has recorded remarkable achievements within a short period in office. I boldly say Kebbi State is a model every state, especially in the Northwest, should emulate’ he said.
On the marriage ceremony that he attended in Birnin Kebbi, Governor Radda advised the couple to embrace patience, perseverance, and mutual respect, describing marriage as a sacred and honourable institution.
‘I pray that Allah will bless the marriage we just witnessed.
